About the role
The Framing Manager ensures the overall profitability of framing installed sales, trains and supervises framing installation crews, performs quality checks at jobsites, and maintains production or installation records.
Responsibilities
- Train, supervise, and direct the work of framing installation crews
- Monitor safety standards and perform quality checks at jobsites
- Plan framing installation work and apportion tasks among crews
- Oversee maintenance of all equipment and trucks
- Ensure safety and security of framing crews
- Assist with field estimates
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in responding to customer inquiries or complaints
- Install framing as needed
Requirements
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and internet software
- Ability to read and comprehend documents (e.g., policy and procedure manuals)
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak or present in front of small groups
- Apply common sense to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
- Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
Pay
Salary range: $50,000 – $100,000+ (negotiable).
