Traveling Superintendent

About the Role

The Framing Manager ensures the overall profitability of framing installed sales, trains and supervises framing installation crews, performs quality checks at jobsites, and maintains production or installation records. This role plans framing installation work, apportions tasks among crews, oversees equipment and truck maintenance, and ensures crew safety and security. The Framing Manager also assists with field estimates and addresses customer inquiries or complaints.

Responsibilities

• Train installers and monitor adherence to safety standards.
• Oversee the maintenance of all equipment and trucks.
• Assist with estimating in the field.
• Exercise discretion and independent judgment in responding to common customer inquiries or complaints.
• Perform quality checks at jobsites and maintain production/installation records.
• Plan framing installation work and apportion tasks among framing crews.
• Install framing as needed.

Requirements

• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and internet software.
• Ability to respond to common customer inquiries or complaints.
• Ability to read and comprehend documents (e.g., policy and procedure manuals), write routine reports and correspondence, and speak/present in front of small groups.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Pay

Salary Range: $50,000 - $100,000+ (negotiable).
