Responsibilities
- Oversee the management of construction sites, including coordinating subcontractors and overseeing employees to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Actively mentor and develop Assistant Superintendents, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills and advance their careers within the company.
- Oversee and coordinate the work of all subcontractors on-site to ensure timely and quality completion of tasks while ensuring cooperation and high performance.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily logs and reports, to ensure accurate and up-to-date records of project progress.
- Implement and oversee quality control processes to uphold high standards of workmanship, ensuring that all work meets or exceeds project specifications and industry standards.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in commercial construction, with a solid track record of successful project completions.
- Extensive experience in managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades on-site.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed construction goals and project timelines.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools, with a willingness to learn new technologies as needed.
- Ability to pass a criminal background and drug screen.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel overnight throughout the Southeastern U.S.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to handle project challenges and ensure smooth execution.
