Duties and Responsibilities

  • Must be able to read and comprehend engineered drawings.
  • Must have a basic understanding of door hardware installation.
  • Thoroughly complete all necessary paperwork relating to job tickets.
  • Maintain a safe working environment at all times.
  • Communicate all project activity to the UT project manager or appropriate manager in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or state-recognized equivalent.
  • At least one (1) to five (5) years of security installation experience and network ability.
  • Knowledgeable of security equipment systems (i.e., intrusion detection, assessment, and access control).
  • Capable of installing and maintaining various alarms, access control, and assessment system devices.
  • Ability to obtain and retain a U.S. Government Security Clearance preferred DCJS Certified is required.
  • Prior troubleshooting experience.
  • Security industry certifications.
  • Knowledge of: Software House, Lenel, AMAG, Galaxy, Brivo, Bosch, Southwest Microwave, Genetec, and/or Onssi.

Pay Range

$65,000 - $100,000 USD

About the Role

UT Government is looking to add a Traveling Security Technician to their team. This Technician will travel from Pennsylvania to Maine.

Qualifications

The Security Technician is responsible for the installing, service, testing and inspection of a wide range of access control and IP Camera products and systems. As a customer facing employee, the Security Technician must be a personable, knowledgeable self-starter who is capable of making sound decisions that are in the best interest of the customer and Unlimited Technology. The Security Technician must possess basic troubleshooting skills and will work under the direction and supervision of various departments.
