Description
The Traveling Superintendent will report to Senior Operations Leadership and be responsible for managing all on-site construction activities, ensuring project execution is delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
Lead day-to-day field operations
- for a major mission critical construction project.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel to maintain schedule milestones.
- Drive site safety initiatives and ensure compliance with all company and regulatory standards.
- Manage project sequencing, logistics, and workforce planning.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, progress reporting, and schedule updates.
Profile
- A successful Traveling Superintendent should have:
- 10+ years of commercial construction experience in a Superintendent capacity.
- Previous data center experience strongly preferred.
- Candidates from advanced construction sectors including healthcare, life sciences, heavy industrial, advanced manufacturing, or other technically complex projects will also be considered.
- Demonstrated success managing large-scale ground-up construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, site logistics, quality control, and safety management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and subcontractor management skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel for project assignments nationwide.
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred but not required.
Job Offer
- Base salary $130,000 up to $160,000+, dependent on experience.
