Traveling Project Engineer - MEP Division

Responsibilities

  • Aid in project safety compliance efforts.
  • Support the understanding and distribution of job cost information and project estimates.
  • Contribute to project sequencing and scheduling efforts.
  • Track project progress and analyze production.
  • Assist with project cost reporting and other administrative duties.
  • Support material/equipment procurement processes.
  • Handle change order requests and track them.
  • Coordinate with general contractors/owners under supervision.
  • Assist with reporting requirements, including field time and productivity, materials, safety, and other relevant aspects.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or at least four years of relevant construction experience.
  • Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, MS Project, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Basic knowledge of construction software, such as Procore, Bluebeam, CMIC, etc.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • An analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn, improve, and contribute to a team.
  • An attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
  • The ability to adapt to different roles and requirements within the project lifecycle.
