Traveling Optician

About the role

All About Eyes in Peoria IL will serve as the home base office. The position offers flexibility to travel to other All About Eyes facilities in surrounding areas such as: Champaign, Bloomington, Moline, Peru and other locations in IL, directed by area manager.

Responsibilities

• Help patients choose frames and lenses that fit their needs and style
• Provide exceptional customer service and personalized recommendations
• Perform eyewear adjustments and minor repairs
• Maintain optical inventory and displays
• Work closely with doctors and team members to support patient care
• Cross-train in other departments for career growth

Requirements

• No optical experience required—full training provided
• 0–3 years of experience (customer service or sales preferred)
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Positive attitude and team-player mindset
• Coachable and eager to learn
• Professional, friendly, and dependable

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

The traveling schedule will be directed and assigned by area manager and practice manager based on surrounding offices needs.
