About the role

Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to prepare and administer radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and administer radioactive drugs
  • Operate radiation detection and imaging equipment
  • Perform various diagnostic procedures such as DEXA scans, cardiac scans, stress rest tests, HIDA scans, renal scans, bone scans, and PET CT

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine
  • BLS certification
  • 2 years’ experience as a nuclear med tech
  • NMTCB or ARRT (NM) certification required
  • Dosimeter (dose reader badge) required
  • ME State license

Qualifications

  • Experience with DEXA scans, cardiac scans, stress rest tests, HIDA scans, renal scans, bone scans, and PET CT

Skills

  • Proficiency in operating radiation detection and imaging equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols accurately
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and medical staff

4/10 hour shifts, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, No weekends, No call required, Holiday expectations: none, Start times rotate between 5:30 AM to 6:00 AM or 7:00 AM
