Traveling Nuclear Medicine Tech

About the role

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team where you’ll be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment. The position is based in Reno, offering access to urban amenities and outdoor recreation, including downtown Reno and the Truckee River Walk, Lake Tahoe (≈45 miles southwest), Rancho San Rafael Regional Park (>500 acres), the Midtown District, Reno‑Tahoe International Airport, and Interstate 80 for regional access.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and administering radioactive drugs
• Operating radiation detection and imaging equipment
• Floating to other areas within the organization based on competency
• Working weekends and holidays as required
• Picking up one additional shift during the schedule period as required

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology
• State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine
• BLS certification
