About the role
GSI is a leading infrastructure solutions provider that offers a range of services including geotechnical engineering, structural analysis, and construction management. Our team works on projects that protect people and strengthen critical infrastructure in North America and New Zealand.
Responsibilities
- Lead geotechnical investigations and site assessments
- Develop and review construction plans and specifications
- Manage project budgets and timelines
- Collaborate with clients and other stakeholders to ensure project success
- Conduct quality control and assurance inspections
- Prepare reports and documentation for regulatory agencies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in geotechnical engineering
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
- Experience with geosynthetic materials and techniques
- Understanding of soil mechanics and foundation design
