About the role

GSI is a leading infrastructure solutions provider that offers a range of services including geotechnical engineering, structural analysis, and construction management. Our team works on projects that protect people and strengthen critical infrastructure in North America and New Zealand.

Responsibilities

  • Lead geotechnical investigations and site assessments
  • Develop and review construction plans and specifications
  • Manage project budgets and timelines
  • Collaborate with clients and other stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Conduct quality control and assurance inspections
  • Prepare reports and documentation for regulatory agencies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in geotechnical engineering
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
  • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
  • Experience with geosynthetic materials and techniques
  • Understanding of soil mechanics and foundation design
