Traveling Electrical Superintendent
About the role
Amteck is currently looking to hire Traveling Electrical Service Superintendents for our Service Department. You will be traveling to projects across the country to lead teams of Electricians and Apprentices. We offer long‑term opportunities as well as steady work, benefits and a 401(k). The position provides the ability to diversify your electrical skill set with training in low voltage, fire alarm, controls, instrumentation and other skill sets.
Responsibilities
- Travel to project sites nationwide and lead teams of electricians and apprentices.
- Install conduit, wire, and cable systems as required.
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Install and terminate panels, switchboards, and other electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and perform repairs on faulty circuits, equipment, or systems.
- Supervise a team of 5‑10 personnel.
Requirements
- 10+ years of electrical experience on commercial or industrial sites.
- Master Electrician License preferred.
- Ability to install conduit, wire and cable systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Ability to install and terminate panels, switchboards and other electrical equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs on faulty circuits, equipment or systems.
- OSHA 10 preferred but not required.
- Conveyor/press experience preferred but not required.
- Experience supervising a team of 5‑10.
