Traveling Electrical Superintendent

About the role

Amteck is currently looking to hire Traveling Electrical Service Superintendents for our Service Department. You will be traveling to projects across the country to lead teams of Electricians and Apprentices. We offer long-term opportunities as well as steady work, benefits and a 401K. You will have the ability to diversify your electrical skill set with being able to learn others within Amteck. We have training for low voltage, fire alarm, controls, and instrumentation among other skill sets.

Responsibilities

• Travel to projects across the country
• Lead teams of Electricians and Apprentices
• Install conduit, wire and cable systems as required
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Install and terminate panels, switchboards and other electrical equipment
• Troubleshoot and perform repairs on faulty circuits, equipment or systems
• Supervise a team of 5-10

Requirements

• 10+ years of electrical experience on commercial or industrial sites
• Master Electrician License preferred
• OSHA 10 preferred but not required
• Conveyer/press experience preferred but not required
• Experience supervising a team of 5-10

Skills

• Ability to install conduit, wire and cable systems as required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to install and terminate panels, switchboards and other electrical equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs on faulty circuits, equipment or systems
