Traveling Electrical Superintendent

About the role

Amteck is seeking Traveling Electrical Service Superintendents for our Service Department. The position involves traveling to projects across the country to lead teams of electricians and apprentices. Responsibilities

• Travel to project sites nationwide.
• Lead and supervise teams of electricians and apprentices (typically 5‑10 members).
• Install conduit, wire, and cable systems as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
• Install and terminate panels, switchboards, and other electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty circuits, equipment, or systems.
• Participate in training for low‑voltage, fire‑alarm, controls, instrumentation, and other skill sets.
• Uphold safety standards and the company’s core values of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• 10+ years of electrical experience on commercial or industrial sites.
• Master Electrician License (preferred).
• Ability to install conduit, wire, and cable systems as required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to install and terminate panels, switchboards, and other electrical equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs on faulty circuits, equipment, or systems.
• OSHA 10 certification (preferred but not required).
• Conveyor/press experience (preferred but not required).
• Experience supervising a team of 5‑10 personnel.
