Traveling Electrical Superintendent

About the role

Amteck is seeking Traveling Electrical Service Superintendents for its Service Department. The position involves traveling to projects across the country to lead teams of electricians and apprentices, with opportunities for long‑term employment, steady work, and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Travel to various project sites nationwide.
• Lead and supervise teams of 5‑10 electricians and apprentices.
• Install conduit, wire, and cable systems as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Install and terminate panels, switchboards, and other electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty circuits, equipment, or systems.
• Coordinate with other trades and ensure safety standards are met.
• Participate in training for low‑voltage, fire alarm, controls, instrumentation, and other skill sets.

Requirements

• 10+ years of electrical experience on commercial or industrial sites.
• Master Electrician license preferred.
• Ability to install conduit, wire, and cable systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to install and terminate panels, switchboards, and other electrical equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs on faulty circuits, equipment, or systems.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred (not required).
• Conveyor/press experience preferred (not required).
• Experience supervising a team of 5‑10 personnel.
