Responsibilities
- Deliver direct dental services such as scaling, prophylaxis, x-rays, sealants, and fluoride applications under dentist supervision.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and guide patients and parents through treatment plans.
- Assess patients' dental health, review medical histories, and ensure adherence to regulations and standards.
- Assist with charting, taking x-rays, and support general office functions to create positive patient experiences.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in good standing.
- CPR (BLS) certification from ARC or AHA, with hands-on assessment required upon hire.
Skills
- Strong communication and patient care skills, especially with children (70%+ of patients).
- Team-oriented, respectful, and committed to providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to follow safety and regulatory guidelines.
