In this position
- Develop, implement, and maintain schedule processes and software systems.
- Create project schedule templates in the appropriate software platform for the project team.
- Perform initial computer and user setup for new employees.
- Maintain the resource list associated with Ross Group project server.
- Ensure the project team has the appropriate training and software to develop the schedule.
- Review proposal, preliminary, and initial schedules for compliance with RG requirements and contract requirements.
- Ensure all schedules are properly cost and resource loaded.
- Maintain baseline schedule for each project.
- Interface with Operations to discuss impact of work and resolve problems.
- Contribute to the development of working schedules for Estimating.
- Aid in the review of proposal schedules.
- Aid in the creation of schedule software program files for preliminary, initial, and pay application schedules.
- Aid in the control and management of in-progress project schedules.
- Serve as a technical advisor for schedule process or software-related problems.
- Aid Project Managers in creating short-term schedules and monitoring their impact on the master schedule.
- Manage and evaluate current schedule performance.
- Provide information and advice on project schedules.
- Identify scheduling software training needs and provide training when necessary.
- Maintain scheduling reports to track project progress and present this information in bi-weekly Scheduling meetings.
Qualifications
- Previous schedule management experience.
- Working knowledge of Primavera and Microsoft Project.
- Ability to plan, organize, and communicate with internal and external customers/stakeholders.
- Proven successful project history (cost, customer service, quality, safety, and schedule).
- Legal right to work in the United States.
