Traveling Construction Project Engineer

About the role

Drive complex programs from planning through execution with a focus on structure, accountability, and measurable delivery. Work across business leaders, delivery teams, and strategic partners to align priorities, manage dependencies, and keep initiatives on track. Bring clarity to complex work and deliver outcomes that matter across the organization within a Technical Services environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage job controls for compliance with technical requirements, budgets, and schedules
• Provide technical support for construction planning and quality control
• Prepare daily logs and project reports
• Monitor subcontractor progress for compliance
• Respond to subcontractor RFIs and coordinate with engineers
• Review subcontractor’s project implementation plans to identify risks
• Assist Project Manager in planning and risk management

Requirements

• BS in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar field
• Experience in the construction industry
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
• Knowledge of project estimating and scheduling techniques
• Familiarity with management software like Procore is a plus

Pay

$109,000 – $142,000 annually
