Traveling Concrete Senior Superintendent

About the role

Lithko Contracting is looking for a Traveling Concrete General Superintendent to join our Travel Team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning the execution phase of large-scale projects. You will collaborate closely with the operational team to create an overall project plan.

Responsibilities

• Develop a project plan for your phase of work.
• Understand project information and identify obstacles and opportunities for your phase of work.
• Prepare your team to execute using defined planning processes.
• Ensure your team has staged equipment, materials, and workstations for optimal output.
• Utilize and track time sheets, delivery tickets, and sign-in & sign-out sheets.
• Ensure project execution goals are met for your portion of work.
• Communicate project status in a timely and accurate manner to all appropriate parties.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• A minimum of five years of progressive experience in project execution with a large-scale self-performing general contractor or concrete contracting firm.
• Demonstrated experience in self-performing concrete work is required.
• Diverse portfolio of project types, with emphasis on commercial and industrial projects.
• In-depth knowledge of construction principles and practices.
• Experience managing projects valued at over $1 million.
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive successful project outcomes.
• Willingness to travel nationwide and be present on-site according to a rotating schedule during project builds, with the ability to accommodate extended stays as necessary.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering is highly preferred.
