Responsibilities
- Develop a project plan for your phase of work.
- Understand project information and identify obstacles and opportunities for your phase of work.
- Prepare your team to execute using defined planning processes.
- Ensure your team has staged equipment, materials, and workstations for optimal output.
- Utilize and track time sheets, delivery tickets, and sign-in & sign-out sheets.
- Ensure project execution goals are met for your portion of work.
- Communicate project status in a timely and accurate manner to all appropriate parties.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- A minimum of five years of progressive experience in project execution with a large-scale self-performing general contractor or concrete contracting firm.
- Demonstrated experience in self-performing concrete work is required.
- Diverse portfolio of project types, with a particular emphasis on commercial and industrial projects.
- In-depth knowledge of construction principles and practices.
- Experience managing projects valued at over $1 million.
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive successful outcomes for projects.
- A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering is highly preferred.
- Willingness to travel nationwide and be present on-site according to a rotating schedule during project builds, with the ability to accommodate extended stays as necessary.
