Traveling Commercial Refrigeration Pipefitter

Wood Air Conditioning is hiring experienced Commercial Refrigeration Pipefitters to join our traveling installation team supporting large national retail clients, including Walmart.

About the role

Install piping for commercial refrigeration rack systems and walk-ins, including pipe installation for retrofit and new construction projects. Work with steel, copper, HDPE, and PVC piping, read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings, and operate safely and efficiently in active commercial environments.

Requirements

• 5+ years commercial refrigeration pipefitting experience required
• Experience on large retail or grocery projects required
• Ability to braze and pressure test systems
• Willingness to travel for extended project durations
• Valid driver’s license required

Pay

$30–$45/hour, based on experience (paid weekly) plus $40/day per diem.
