Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Schedule, coordinate, and supervise on-site trade employee activities during all phases of the construction project.
• Adequately communicate with the project manager, architect, engineer, and other project team members to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedule.
• Maintain and enforce safety program requirements and implement corrective measures.
• Attend and/or conduct project status and other related meetings as required and/or requested by the project manager.
• Assist in estimating, review of subcontractor and material proposals, development of the master schedule.
• Assist in reviewing shop drawings for key materials and finalize as-builts, turnover, and walkthroughs for equipment and material.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management OR an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
• A minimum of 5 years commercial construction experience as superintendent.
• Computer experience required.
• Essential management and communication skills.
• Advanced understanding of construction scheduling, cost control, and ability to supervise large groups.
• Government and large project experience preferred.
• Diverse project experience important.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.
• Travel is required.
