Traveling Cleaner
About the role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. This role involves traveling to various multifamily and commercial properties within Kitsap County to perform high-standard cleaning tasks for unit turns and common area spaces. The ideal candidate is flexible, self-motivated, independent, and able to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across different property types, ensuring a welcoming and pristine environment for tenants, residents, and commercial clients.
Responsibilities
- Daily travel between multifamily, mixed-use, and commercial properties, as scheduled, within Kitsap County.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including but not limited to, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, and waste removal in common areas, units and offices.
- Clean kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces, offices, hallways, stairwells, elevators, lobbies, and amenity areas.
- Conduct periodic deep cleans, including carpet shampooing, window cleaning, running a floor scrubber, and other preventative maintenance tasks.
- Track and manage cleaning supplies and tools.
- Report inventory needs to ensure adequate stock for efficient operations.
- Restock common area bathroom supplies and janitor’s closets as needed.
- Empty trash bins and replace liners regularly in common areas.
- Report maintenance issues, such as broken fixtures, lighting problems, or damages, to the supervisor promptly.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for documentation control and workflow management through Housecall Pro and other relevant software.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently while maintaining a high level of quality.
- Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude while interacting with residents, tenants, clients, and coworkers.
- Secure properties after cleaning by locking doors and ensuring lights, appliances, and windows are properly managed.
- Load, organize, transport, and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in company vehicles or personal vehicles (as applicable).
- Safely use and store cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Maintain accurate time records and complete required work orders or mobile documentation.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, using appropriate protective gear and cleaning agents as per company guidelines.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in multifamily cleaning or similar experience.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the County; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks effectively in different environments.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with property teams and responding to schedule changes.
- Basic knowledge of general cleaning principles, use of cleaning products, operation of standard cleaning equipment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements
Capable of standing, bending, lifting/pushing (up to 50 lbs), and performing repetitive cleaning motions. Frequent need to bend/stoop/squat, climb stairs, push, or pull, and reach above shoulders.

Schedule
40 Hours/week, may include nights and weekends, flexible schedule depending on needs of the business
