Cleaner

Founded in 1997, IFS is the union affiliate of KBS, the largest privately held provider of facility services in North America. We have an immediate full-time opportunity to join our Janitorial Services Team as a Cleaner in a fast-paced, growing environment full of great opportunities and leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning restrooms, break areas (indoor/outdoor), and office areas
• Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and removing trash
• Ensuring all walkways are clean and tidy at all times
• Cleaning totes and other items
• Performing deep cleaning as needed
• Following all safety and quality standards
• Other basic janitorial duties as assigned

Requirements

• Experience in building and warehouse cleaning work
• Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved oral or written instructions
• Communication skills to relate to officials, staff, and the public courteously
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and chemical handling sheets (generally in English; may include Spanish where state required)
• Disposition to perform other duties as assigned

Schedule

Days and nights vary, including weekends.
