Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Safely operate a 30-ton Travelift to load, unload, and transport steel materials
- Operate cranes, forklifts, drills, punch presses, and other shop equipment as needed
- Use oxy-fuel cutting torches, grinders, and various hand tools as required
- Assist production teams with material movement and daily operational needs
- Perform routine equipment checks and report any safety or maintenance concerns
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet production goals
Required Qualifications
- Reliable attendance and ability to work scheduled hours
- Experience operating heavy equipment preferred
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Comfortable using hand tools and shop equipment
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
