About the Role
Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-ray procedures, located in a Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma hospital. The role involves performing routine portable and fluoroscopic procedures, establishing effective communication with medical staff and patients, adhering to safety protocols in accordance with ALARA principles, and thoroughly documenting all procedures. The position requires proficiency in operating room environments and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of imaging procedures, including routine portable and fluoroscopic procedures
- Ensure safety compliance and adhere to ALARA principles
- Engage in patient education and documentation to ensure optimal care
- Maintain effective communication with referring physicians, radiologists, and ancillary departments
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
- Float rotation may be required
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology
- NYS Radiology Technologist license
- ARRT(R) certification
- BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross)
- Experience in operating room procedures and Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma hospital settings
- Minimum of 0 years of experience

Schedule
4x10s; 12:30 PM - 10:00 PM every Thursday through Sunday, with a minimum of 30 hours per week (40 hours per week subject to confirmation).
