Travel Xray Technologist - $1,970 per week

Location: State College, Pennsylvania. Start date: 09/28/2026. Duration: 8 weeks. Employment type: Travel. Specialty: Radiology Technologist. Discipline: Allied Health Professional. Shift: Days, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Perform and process radiographic (including portable) and fluoroscopic radiology tests at the healthcare facility.
• Obtain images using appropriate equipment and transfer images to PACS.
• Document tests and procedures via computer.
• Assist with clinical and office functions, room turnover, and supply/equipment monitoring.
• Report malfunctions and aid in routine maintenance.
• Check the OR schedule daily and collaborate with clinical staff to provide coverage as needed.
• Maintain aseptic techniques during surgical tests and preserve confidentiality of sensitive records.
• Ensure compliance with safety and confidentiality standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a radiology technician.
• Knowledge of all equipment.
• Current certification as a radiology technician.
• Meets American Heart Association (AHA) standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews BLS every two years.
• Ability to assist with lifting, moving, and positioning patients.
• Basic computer operational skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work well with others and maintain a positive attitude.
• Ability to hear verbal communications, read and interpret orders, and document data correctly.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
