About the role
Radiologic Technologist needed to join the imaging team. This position involves performing diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations using portable equipment, demonstrating technical proficiency, and ensuring quality patient care. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and collaboration with healthcare staff to facilitate smooth diagnostic procedures.
Responsibilities
- Operate Cannon Soltus Portable Units and perform intravenous injections of contrast media as needed
- Perform a variety of examinations, including reconstructions and printing protocols, following radiologist specifications
- Complete requisitions and paperwork promptly, schedule exams efficiently, and maintain supply par levels
- Explain procedures to patients, answer questions, and transport patients safely
- Attend in-services and collaborate with staff to ensure exemplary patient care
- Respond to equipment issues, diagnose mechanical or electronic failures, and maintain safety standards
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Registered Radiologic Technologist
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 0 years of experience in the medical imaging field
Schedule
- Days, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Start date: 09/07/2026
- End date: 12/07/2026
- Minimum of 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
