Travel X-Ray Technologist - $2,416 per week

About the role

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Des Moines, Iowa. This position offers a 40-hour work week with 14-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Obtain useful diagnostic details to assist physicians in determining further treatment for patients.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging exams.
• Produce x-ray films of parts of the human body for diagnosing medical conditions such as cancer or fractures.
• Instruct patients to assume appropriate positions for accurate imaging.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations, as well as accepted practice guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain an environment of excellence focused on timely, compassionate, and quality patient care.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment for staff and patients, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.

Requirements

• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Two years of X-Ray Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Pay package is based on 14-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
