Travel X-Ray Technologist - $2,240 per week

About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Seattle, Washington. The position requires 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and evening work. The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
• Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support
• Follow orders from physicians regarding imaging procedures
• Correctly position patients and adjust imaging equipment
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure
• Calibrate imaging equipment
• Prepare results for physician review
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist
• ARRT (R) certification
• BLS certification
• State-specific licensing (when required)
• Solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Must be able to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
