Travel Radiology Technologist position available in Roanoke, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Position patients appropriately for imaging studies.
• Operate and maintain equipment used in radiographic procedures.
• Document patient information accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols.

Requirements

• Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Experience in cardiology and/or radiology preferred.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and protection.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Current certification in cardiac catheterization and interventional radiography preferred.
• Passing score on the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) exam.

Skills

• Proficient in using radiological equipment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
