About the role

The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including trauma, portable X-rays, fluoroscopy, and C-Arm procedures in an Emergency Department setting. The role requires floating between the Emergency Department and Diagnostic Department, flexibility to work holidays as scheduled, and a willingness to work within a 100-mile radius of the facility. No local candidates will be accepted.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including trauma and portable X-rays
  • Conduct fluoroscopy and C-Arm procedures
  • Work in an Emergency Department setting with occasional floating to the Diagnostic Department
  • Adhere to scheduled shifts, including holidays and call requirements
  • Complete 12 hours of non-billable orientation (NEO) and on-the-job training

Requirements

  • ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification
  • AHA BLS certification
  • Nebraska state license (must bring on the first day of assignment)
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience with trauma
  • Proficiency in trauma imaging, portable X-ray procedures, fluoroscopy, and C-Arm procedures
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
  • Willingness to work within a 100-mile radius of the facility

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency in fluoroscopy

Schedule

  • Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday; 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. (12-hour shifts, nights)
  • 36 hours per week
  • Call required
  • Orientation includes 12 hours of non-billable hours
  • 36 hours of call-offs allowed every 13 weeks
