About the role
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including trauma, portable X-rays, fluoroscopy, and C-Arm procedures in an Emergency Department setting. The role requires floating between the Emergency Department and Diagnostic Department, flexibility to work holidays as scheduled, and a willingness to work within a 100-mile radius of the facility. No local candidates will be accepted.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including trauma and portable X-rays
- Conduct fluoroscopy and C-Arm procedures
- Work in an Emergency Department setting with occasional floating to the Diagnostic Department
- Adhere to scheduled shifts, including holidays and call requirements
- Complete 12 hours of non-billable orientation (NEO) and on-the-job training
Requirements
- ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification
- AHA BLS certification
- Nebraska state license (must bring on the first day of assignment)
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience with trauma
- Proficiency in trauma imaging, portable X-ray procedures, fluoroscopy, and C-Arm procedures
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
- Willingness to work within a 100-mile radius of the facility
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in fluoroscopy
Schedule
- Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday; 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. (12-hour shifts, nights)
- 36 hours per week
- Call required
- Orientation includes 12 hours of non-billable hours
- 36 hours of call-offs allowed every 13 weeks
