About the role

Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-ray services in Hilo, Hawaii. This position involves performing radiographic procedures using various equipment, ensuring radiation safety protocols, and working independently in a fast-paced medical environment. The role requires a Hawaii State Radiologic Technologist license and ARRT certification, with a focus on patient care and technical proficiency.

Schedule

  • Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Average of 3 days of call per month

Responsibilities

  • Perform radiographic procedures using digital radiography (DR) fixed equipment, DR fluoroscopy equipment, C-arms, and portable DR equipment
  • Ensure radiation safety protocols are followed
  • Work independently in a fast-paced medical environment

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of independent experience as a radiologic technologist
  • Current Hawaii State Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Must have dosimeter badge
  • Must arrive on the island the Thursday before the start date (09/12/2026) to attend employee health appointments scheduled for Friday
  • No guarantee of hours or time requested off

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Epic EMR, Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, and Konica DR
  • Experience with Philips Fluoro
