About the role

MetaSense, Inc. is seeking a travel Radiology Technician (X-Ray Technician) for a 12‑week assignment at a 900‑bed facility in Morristown, New Jersey. The role requires independent work in the operating room and experience with GE imaging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform and provide appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines
• Maintain all equipment for procedures; assess safety, procedure, physical and physiological comfort of patient
• Monitor need for procedure revisions; coordinate daily imaging procedures
• Demonstrate knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care
• Stay current with trends and advances in clinical practice, healthcare informatics, and new developments in hardware and software technology
• Exercise initiative, problem identification, resolution, and analytical skills
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing

Requirements

• 1–3 years' experience as an X‑Ray Technician; minimum 18 months in the field
• Experience with GE equipment
• Comfortable working in the OR
• Ability to work independently in a 900‑bed facility
• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School
• NJ State RT License
• ARRT certification
• BLS certification

Schedule

Pay

Pay package based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
