Travel X-Ray Tech - $2,627 per week
About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in Burlingame, California, requiring CA licensure, Fluoroscopy licensure, and ARRT (XR) certification.
The role is based in an acute care hospital radiology/X-Ray department, with 5x8 hour day shifts, 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and rotating every 3rd weekend required. No on-call requirement applies.
Responsibilities
The Radiology Technologist will competently perform routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce diagnostic-quality images, working independently using sound clinical judgment to execute safe and precise procedures in a timely manner.
Key responsibilities include patient assessment, monitoring, and communication with patients, families, and healthcare providers, as well as assisting with orienting other staff to the department and adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of X-Ray experience required
- Current BLS (AHA) required
- CA CRT licensure required (license required if applicable)
- Fluoroscopy licensure required
- ARRT (XR) certification required
- 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
Qualifications
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates. Former employees must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler.

Pay
