Travel X-Ray Tech - $2,603 per week

About the role

HCS 247 is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Burlingame, California, starting August 24, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray, CT, MRI, and other imaging modalities under the supervision of a physician.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to manufacturer’s guidelines and hospital policies.
• Document patient information accurately and prepare reports for physicians.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure sterilization of equipment.

Requirements

• Current state license as a Radiologic Technologist.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in computer systems and medical terminology.

Qualifications

• No new graduates.

Skills

• Knowledge of radiographic techniques and procedures.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

This will be a 9A-5P shift starting August 24, 2026, working 40 hours per week.
