About the role
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identification
- Review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients
- Provide reassurance and support to patients
- Follow orders from Physicians regarding imaging procedures
- Correctly position the patient and adjust the imaging equipment
- Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Understand and use the McKesson PACS system
Requirements
- Must have 1 year of experience
- Must have BLS certification
- Must have ARRT (R) National Certification
- Must have state-specific licensing when required
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Qualifications
