Access Healthcare is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning them appropriately.
• Operate and maintain equipment used in the catheterization laboratory.
• Document patient care activities and procedures accurately.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Cath Lab Technologist in the state of Louisiana.
• Experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a recognized training program in cardiac catheterization technology.
• Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist from a recognized organization.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating cardiac catheterization equipment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
• Good interpersonal skills to interact with patients and medical staff.
