Travel Wound Care RN - $2,323 per week

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) with a focus on providing excellent patient care in a teaching hospital environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and experience in wound care, specializing in managing complex wound conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement wound care treatment protocols for patients across various age groups.
• Utilize wound care supplies and technologies, including negative pressure wound therapy and various dressing types.
• Educate patients and families on wound care management and best practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and recovery.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system (Epic).

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina or pending application.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in wound care nursing.
• Wound Care Certification (WOCN) is required; continence certification not necessary.
• BLS Certification.

Pay & Schedule

The Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
