Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Vascular Sonographer for a 6-week assignment in Burlington, Vermont. The position involves performing ultrasound scans and analyzing sonograms for diagnostic purposes.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program
• Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations

Skills

• Understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

• Preparation and positioning of patients for accurate imaging
• Performing clinical assessments and diagnostic sonography examinations
• Evaluating images for clarity and accuracy
• Calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting ultrasound equipment
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend
• Mental requirements to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure
