Travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer - Non-Invasive Cardiology - $2,627 per week

About the role

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer specializing in Non-Invasive Cardiology, requiring RDCS or RCS certification and extensive Level I Trauma experience. This is a 13-week travel assignment in Temple, Texas, starting October 19, 2026.

Schedule

• Evening shifts: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Tuesday through Saturday
• 5 × 8-hour shifts per week (40 hours/week)
• 13-week duration

Responsibilities

• Work in a Non-Invasive Cardiology department within a hospital setting
• Perform echocardiography/ultrasound procedures in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Function independently during evening shifts

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Echo Technologist / Sonographer
• Extensive Level I Trauma experience
• BLS (AHA) certification
• RDCS or RCS certification
• Active Texas license (if applicable)
• Flu shot required (no exemptions granted)
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced department
• Must be able to keep up in an extremely busy department
• Scrubs must be solid color with no prints
• Candidate must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility

Pay

Pay package based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation); tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
