About the role
Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting on August 10, 2026, in Peoria, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic cardiac imaging procedures using ultrasound technology.
- Ensure accurate and efficient patient care within the guidelines of medical protocols.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain patient records.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to interpret images and provide necessary reports.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an Echo Technician preferred, but exceptional candidates with a strong passion may be considered.
- Valid certification and/or licensure in the state of practice, if applicable.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and composure, especially during stressful and fast-paced moments in the healthcare setting.
- Valid Driver’s License and the ability to travel between assignment locations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen to meet healthcare industry standards.
Qualifications

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
