Job Description

The Echo/Vascular sonographer performs diagnostic ultrasound and related testing on patients with suspected disorders of the cardiovascular system. These tests primarily include, but are not limited to, echocardiography, EKG, carotid duplex scanning, and noninvasive peripheral (arterial and venous) vascular studies.

Requirements

• Registered or registry eligible by the ARDMS as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or by CCI as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) and Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS).
• Registry must be completed within one year of employment.
• Must have BLS certifications, must be attached to the candidate submission (Must be through the American Heart Association)
• Must have ARDMS as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or by CCI as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) and Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS).
• Experience as Echo tech is also preferred
• Shifts will be Monday-Thursday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with 30 min lunch & Friday 8:00 am – 1:00 pm

Facility Requirements

• Must have BLS certifications
