About the role
Aequor Allied is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a position in Newton, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures using specialized equipment.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations.
- Document findings accurately and prepare reports for referring physicians.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain sterile environments.
Requirements
- Current state-issued certification as an Ultrasound Technologist.
- Experience in performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
- Knowledge of relevant anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare providers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a health-related field preferred.
- Passing score on the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) registry exam.
Skills
- Proficiency with ultrasound equipment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay
The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shifts are 10 hours long and occur 5 days a week.
