Travel Ultrasound Technologist - $2,278 per week

About the role

Access Healthcare is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Foxborough, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Patient and exam verification: Obtains two points of patient identification, reviews orders, and ensures the patient's chart is reviewed for pertinent clinical history. Prepares and cleans the equipment and room for each patient.
• Patient Care & Collaboration: Explains the exam to the patient, ensuring understanding and maintaining ethical standards. Works collaboratively with the leadership team to ensure a smooth patient flow and optimal utilization of US scanners. Delivers patient care under the scope of license/training.
• Department & On-Call Coverage: Assumes all responsibilities for on-call and holiday coverage. Remains flexible in shift coverage and overtime situations.
• Clinical Performance: Performs all duties pertaining to the performance of clinical ultrasound exams. Oversees and instructs sonographers, professional staff, and students within the department.
• Research Performance: Acknowledges and participates in research programs, quality assurance, and quality improvement projects carried out in the department.

Benefits

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
