About the role

The healthcare organization is seeking an Ultrasound Technician/General Sonographer for a position in a 60-bed facility. This role involves performing ultrasound procedures and providing diagnostic imaging services based on physician orders, with responsibilities tailored to a general sonography specialty. The position requires working two of three holidays and performing ultrasound procedures with proficiency in EMR systems, specifically Epic. Scrubs required are royal blue. No floating is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures and provide diagnostic imaging services based on physician orders
• Work with proficiency in EMR systems, specifically Epic
• Cover call responsibilities during scheduled shift hours
• Work two of three holidays

Requirements

• Certification in Radiologic Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS)
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience
• Prior travel experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Available for orientation on 11/9, 11/16, and 11/30
• Valid RDMS certification on file at the time of submission
• Must be able to pass N95 testing

Skills

• Proficiency in ultrasound procedures
• Proficiency in Epic EMR system

Schedule

• Day shift, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week
• Friday through Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• Call responsibilities during the same shift hours
