About the role

LRS Healthcare - Allied is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting August 18, 2026 in Bangor, Maine.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures under the supervision of a physician.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations.
  • Accurately document findings and report results to the supervising physician.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain sterile environments.

Requirements

  • Current state-issued certification as an Ultrasound Technologist.
  • Experience in performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
  • Knowledge of relevant anatomy and physiology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited ultrasound technology program.
  • Pass a background check.

Skills

  • Proficient in using ultrasound equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
