Travel Ultrasound Technician

About the Role

FirstChoice – Trinity Health's travel staffing solution – is seeking Ultrasound Technicians (US Techs) for flexible scheduling, local and travel opportunities, and premium compensation. This internal resource pool offers increased pay scales, a variety of practice settings, and the ability to stay local or travel throughout the country.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality ultrasound procedures using proper positioning skills and technical factors, with knowledge of anatomical structures for patients from infants to geriatrics.
• Conduct clinical assessments and diagnostic sonography examinations.
• Educate patients about exams and obtain consent when necessary.
• Collaborate with unit members and FirstChoice colleagues to deliver evidence-based care within a healing culture for patients and families.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or higher.
• 2 years of US Tech experience.
• Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association only).
• Willingness to float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations.
• Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.

Pay

Gross weekly rate: $2,440 for 40 hours per week.

Schedule

• Shift: Evenings.
• Duration: 13 weeks.
• Start date: Flexible.
