Travel Ultrasound Technician

Employment Type: Part time. Shift involves travel as an Ultrasound Technician / Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality ultrasound procedures using proper positioning skills and technical factors, with knowledge of anatomical structures for patients from infants to geriatrics.
• Conduct clinical assessments and diagnostic sonography examinations.
• Educate patients about the exams being performed and obtain consent when necessary.
• Collaborate with unit members and FirstChoice colleagues to deliver evidence-based care within a healing culture for patients and families.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or higher required.
• 2 years of Ultrasound Technician experience required.
• Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association only).
• Willingness to float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations.
• Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.

Job Details

Location: Trinity Mercy Health – Muskegon, MI. Start date is flexible. Assignments last 13 weeks with 40 hours per week on evening shifts.

Pay

Gross weekly rate: $2,440.
