Travel Ultrasound Tech

Responsibilities

• Operate GE CT and X-ray equipment independently during overnight shifts, ensuring high-quality images for rapid diagnosis.
• Prioritize and perform a broad range of emergent and urgent imaging exams, including contrast studies.
• Verify patient identity, monitor patient tolerance, and adhere to radiation safety protocols.
• Collaborate closely with ER physicians, nurses, and support staff to deliver efficient, patient-centered care.
• Maintain competency in advanced imaging modalities and contribute to workflow improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

• Certified Radiology Technologist (RAD-VA) with BLS certification.
• Certified Sonographer (ARDMS RDMS in OB/GYN).
• Experience with GE CT and X-ray equipment preferred.
• Comfortable working independently overnight and with emergency cases.
• Strong communication skills and attention to safety protocols.
