About the role
Provides diagnostic ultrasound imaging in a healthcare facility. Responsible for performing and analyzing ultrasound procedures, adhering to safety protocols, and ensuring quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations accurately.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Maintain equipment and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Collaborate with medical staff for optimal patient outcomes.
- Complete documentation and adhere to clinical protocols.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience.
- ARDMS certification and BLS certification required.
- Ability to pass prophecy tests: Dysrhythmia with measure & Progressive Care.
- Cerner experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and patient communication skills.
Requirements
- CORES 1, CORES 2 (Allied), CORES 3
- Color Vision and OSHA Safety training
